Copper Display

Self-initiated Project
2017

Experimental display numbers made of copper wires. The project was a challenge to see how far I could manipulate metal and turn it into something beautiful.  The inspiration came from Art Deco typography and neon tubes.

Each number was painstakingly bent (by hand) from a single continuous copper wire. Everything is then polished and coated with clear enamel to keep them from being oxidized. This project was made possible with the help of my partner Jonathan Torres.
