FRANMAC is an annual internal convention for franchisees and franchisee organizations to get business update from Taco Bell. 2021 was the first time the convention took place both in person and virtually via livestreaming for COVID safety reasons. A portion of the meeting was pre-recorded in the format of news & interview segments, which requires additional visual elements like virtual backdrops, lower thirds, etc.

My role for this was to create the overall branding of the event based on the guidelines of Taco Bell’s new visual system, animate the graphics and lower thirds for the pre-recorded segments, as well as working with the other designers and animators to create contents for the meeting. We also teamed up with The Sheppard, an event and production company, to produce content, provide equipment and execute the meeting.

Taco Bell’s new global visual system was developed to create a more cohesive branding across
multiple channels. This serves as the base for the branding of 2021 FRANMAC Convention.
